Now that I think about it, that place would be a goldmine for those of you itching to make articles out of. Scared of their own shadows too plus 'adulting' is a task too daunting for a number of them. Not to mention they literally recycle topics because their memories are akin to a goldfish. Being barred from discourse is practically a ban in my view so no love lost, I say. Apparently, being "good guys" means free speech must be sacrificed to prop up the thin-skinned denizens there. I have seen some creators driven out of there over differing ideals & opinions. The main reason I put up with them is because of free hosting but holy hell they are mentally children. It makes one wonder what the future is going to be like for this format when every maker is being corralled in their own corners since striking by yourself just with comics isn't enough anymore.Ĭomicfury used to be my stomping grounds until their community got too ahem, uppity for my tastes. Did the old hosting sites die and consolidate? Webtoons and Tapas seem to have the lions share of ongoing stories now unless you're part of some collective which itself is a shaky boat as well. Creators, and talented ones at that, seem to be moving on to other things which I haven't been keeping tabs on. There used to be more reviews here and discussions (before the forum nuke), I enjoyed reading those by the way. Hope it's not because of age but it seems like the webcomics world is getting smaller. I will get back to lurking, I just wanted to air some thoughts. It's been a long time since I last posted on here.
